PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat of a simple constitution for properly adjusting a stroke quantity of a headrest, by quickly moving the headrest forward, in a collision from the rear of a vehicle, by normally securing a clearance between an occupant head part and the headrest. SOLUTION: A seat back frame is composed of: a pair of side frame 6 tiltably installed in a seat cushion frame 2; and a sub-frame 8 installed in a side frame 6 via a rotary hinge 22. A pressure receiving plate 20 is installed in a lower part of the sub-frame 8, and rocking range regulating means 6b and 26 are arranged for regulating a rocking range of the sub-frame 8 to the side frame 6. A coil spring 30 is also arranged for energizing a lower part of the sub-frame 8 forward. When a load of a predetermined value or more is inputted from the rear of the vehicle, the pressure receiving plate 20 is moved backward by a waist part of an occupant, and the sub-frame 8 is rocked around the rotary hinge 22, and the headrest 10 is moved forward.
