PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and cost of an effective component supply device. SOLUTION: An effective cartridge 31 is detachably installed in gun barrel parts 18 and 19 of air guns 12 and 13 shooting a vortex ring, and an effective holding part 34 composed of nonwoven fabric including an aromatic component is incorporated into this effective cartridge 31. A plurality of first discharge ports 36 are juxtaposed and formed in substantially parallel on an inner peripheral surface 35 of the effective cartridge 31, and a plurality of second discharge ports 37 corresponding to the first discharge ports 36 are juxtaposed and formed in substantially parallel in the gun barrel parts 18 and 19. By installing such an effective cartridge 31 in the gun barrel parts 18 and 19, the aromatic component is discharged toward the inside of the gun barrel parts 18 and 19 from the effective holding part 34, and the aromatic component is supplied in the gun barrel parts 19 and 19.
