摘要 An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device, a manufacturing method for the LCD device, and an electronic apparatus are provided to form retardation layers with improved optical characteristics in a desired layer thickness, thereby improving the display quality of the LCD device. An LCD device(100) includes a pair of substrates(10,20). The liquid crystal layer is interposed between the pair of substrates. On the substrates, a reflecting display region(R) and a transmitting display region(T) are formed. The reflecting display region performs reflective display and the transmitting display region performs transmitting display in a sub pixel region. Retardation layers(62,64) are formed in a region of one of the pair of substrates corresponding to the reflecting display region. The retardation layers are formed by laminating plural liquid crystal material layers with an alignment film interposed therebetween.
