<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mobile radio telephone equipment in which time from an out-of-zone state to a waiting state is shortened in an environment temporarily making receiving performance adverse. <P>SOLUTION: In a folding mobile telephone set 10, a control part 4 is equipped with a base station search function with which audio information or the like is transmitted by a radio connection within a zone of a base station and the base station is searched in a prescribed temporal cycle when a weak electric field which does not fulfill a waiting zone selection level is determined although a control channel from the base station is received out of the zone. Further, when a location out of the zone is detected and the state of folding an upper device body and a lower device body is detected, the control part shortens the base station search cycle just after out-of-zone detection and the base station search is implemented for fixed time in such a base station search cycle (T2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
