PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply roller which is used for a laser printer or the like, suppresses stress given to toner, supplies toner stably, produces no abrasive powder or powdery shavings, facilitates manufacturing and yields satisfactory images. SOLUTION: In the toner supply roller having a cylindrical elastic porous body 21 on the outer periphery of a shaft 11, a plurality of projecting stripes 24 are spirally formed on the elastic porous body 21 from one end to the other of the outer peripheral surface in such a state that they are twisted relative to the axis of the elastic porous body 21. It is preferable that the elastic porous body 21 is punched out of a urethane foam slab. It is preferable that a plurality of elastic porous bodies 21 are provided on the shaft 11.
