A pulsator includes a reciprocating flat slide providing the connection between the pulsation channels 6, 7 of the pulsator and the evacuation channel 5 on the atmosphere, the pulsation channels being located on opposite sides of the channel 5 and the slide being divided into two compartments 21, 22 by means of a partition 10 extending from the top of the vacuum chamber of the slide to adjacent the surface 3 on which the slide moves so as to leave a vertically narrow passage 11 by means of which the compartments communicate. The walls of the compartments 21, 22 are arch-shaped.</p> |
