An RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) reader, a method, and a system therefor are provided to eliminate a leaking signal incoming to a receiving end from a transmission end effectively, thereby improving reception property. A compensation signal generator(23) generates a compensation signal same as a transmission leaking signal leaking to a receiving end through a directional coupler(21). A transmission leaking signal eliminator(25) inputs the compensation signal and a receiving signal for adding a response signal of an RFID tag received through the directional coupler to the transmission leaking signal, and eliminates the transmission leaking signal from the receiving signal. The transmission leaking signal comprises as follows. The first leaking signal leaks to the receiving end via the directional coupler from a transmission end. The second leaking signal leaks to the receiving end via the directional coupler by being reflected from an antenna(27).
