An automatic exit-door control apparatus and a method for controlling the same are provided to open an exit-door only in an emergency state by preventing an abnormal operation of an emergency switch. A detection process is performed to detect an operating state of an emergency switch(52). A fire signal of a fire signal receiver and abnormal states of a main power supply unit and a battery as an emergency power source are determined in the operating state of the emergency switch(54,58,60). An exit-door is opened by driving an exit-door open/closing unit in response to an operation of the emergency switch only in the fire signal of the fire signal receiver and the abnormal states of the main power supply unit and the battery as the emergency power source(56). |
