A method for checking whether multi SMS messages are browsed and a terminal device for performing the same are provided to enable a user to check many SMS messages via a large sized computer monitor. A method for checking whether multi SMS messages are browsed comprises the following several steps. It is checked whether an internet connecting unit installed at a computer is normally connected to an internet(S100). Then, the computer transmits multi SMS messages to receipt side mobile communication terminals via the internet and a mobile communication network(S110). The computer checks whether the user requests an access to an SMS storage server(S120). If so, the computer makes an access to the SMS storage server(S130). The computer obtains SMS browsing confirmation messages(S140), stores the obtained SMS browsing confirmation messages at a memory and displays them(S150). If the user does not request an access to the SMS storage server in step S120, the computer checks whether the computer is electrically connected to a mobile communication terminal(S160). If so, the computer stores SMS browsing confirmation messages provided by the mobile communication terminal at a memory and displays them(S170).
