PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance decorative effects by forming a discolored area whose discoloration can be well recognized by a game player even in a bright hall game parlor. SOLUTION: The border 96 of a protecting cover 92 on a pattern display device 116 is formed by laminating a discolored layer of liquid crystal ink and a face heating element, and only the discolored layer is recognizable with a game player. On the surface of a game board 112, discolored areas A, B, C are formed, and on the back face side of the game board 112, the face heating elements are embedded against the discolored layers 148a, 148b, 148c. Thus it is possible to discolor the discolored layers 148a, 148b, 148c and discolored areas A, B, C are caused to change colors by causing the face heating elements to generate heat in accordance with a special game or read-for-winning state. Consequently, the discoloration can be well recognized by the game player, even inside a ball game parlor which is adequately illuminated and therefore, the decorative effects can be enhanced. |
