An optical sheet is provided to adjust brightness in a desired viewing angle range by adjusting a refractive index of a light-transmitting resin layer and/or a vertex angle of a prism. A light-transmitting sheet(21) includes a first surface for receiving light and a second surface for transmitting the light received through the first surface. A plurality of prisms(21b) are formed on the light-transmitting sheet. A light-transmitting resin layer(25) is formed on the second surface of the light-transmitting sheet in order to bury a prism structure including the prisms. The light-transmitting resin layer has a refractive index lower than a refractive index of a composition of the prism.
