<p>A driving apparatus is provided to offer a stationary member having excellent corrosion resistance, and transfer vibration of an electro-mechanical transducer to a vibration friction unit efficiently. An electro-mechanical transducer(441) has first and second end portions opposite to each other in an expansion and contraction direction. A stationary member(442) is coupled to the first end portion of the electro-mechanical transducer. A vibration and friction unit(443) is coupled to the second end portion of the electro-mechanical transducer. A rod-shaped moving unit(423) is frictionally coupled to the vibration friction unit. The moving unit is movable in the expansion and contraction direction of the electro-mechanical transducer. The stationary member is composed of base alloy including 88-97 wt% of tungsten, 2-11 wt% of nickel as a binder, and 0.1-2 wt% of a metal material having a higher ionization tendency than the tungsten. A surface of the stationary member is not plated with nickel.</p> |
