The operating unit has two groups of buttons and two printed circuit board segments (110, 120), where each group of buttons is arranged on the respective segments of the circuit board. The segments of the circuit board are electrically connected with each other by a flexible connecting unit e.g. flexible electric flat conductor path (130). The groups of the buttons are aligned in different directions, and the segments are fastened corresponding to actuating directions (410, 420) of the respective group of buttons.
