<p>The method involves configuring a left hearing device (10) with reference to audio metric data about an ear and using hardware information about a right hearing device (11). Audiometric data about another ear is based on the configuration of the left hearing device. A selected regulation time for the compression in the left hearing device is made shorter than a residual dynamic range of the latter ear. The hardware information is concerned with an acoustic characteristic of an otoplastic of the right hearing device.</p> |
