BOEHMERIA PANNOSA EXTRACT AND ANTICANCER CONTAINING THEREOF

An extract of Boehmeria Pannosa is provided to extract excellent anti-cancer ingredient contained in roots of the Boehmeria Pannosa through ethanol extraction, thereby being used as an anti-cancer agent, or a functional food or a food additive having the anti-cancer activity. An anti-cancer agent comprises an extract of Boehmeria Pannosa as an effective ingredient. A method for preparing the extract of Boehmeria Pannosa comprises the steps of: (a) crushing Boehmeria Pannosa; (b) adding the crushed Boehmeria Pannosa to an ethanol solvent and submersing the Boehmeria Pannosa in the ethanol solvent to obtain an ethanol extract; and (c) after filtering the ethanol extract through a filter path, concentrating it under reduced pressure. Additionally, a step of separating water and chloroform is comprised in the method for preparing the extract of Boehmeria Pannosa.
