SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING ANSWER MESSAGE BY USING RING BACK TONE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

A system and a method for providing a response message by using a ring back tone in a mobile communication network and an apparatus therefor are provided to use meaninglessly wasted resources and to enable a call receiver to transmit necessary information to a call sender without using additional services. A method for providing a response message includes the following several steps. A call sending terminal transmits a call connection request to an originating MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(140)(S211). The originating MSC transmits the call connection request to a destination MSC(160)(S213). The destination MSC transmits the call connection request to a call receiving terminal(S215), and receives a response to a call connection setup from the call receiving terminal(S217). Then, the call receiving terminal attaches a response message to a receiving side altering message which notifies the receiving side MSC that an altering process is initialized(S220) and transmits the altering message to the destination MSC(S223).
