PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate TbCu7 phase of high-temperature phase while high maximum energy product is acquired with high saturation magnetization by constituting a main hard magnetic phase from 2-phase separation system while represented by a specific formula. SOLUTION: The permanent magnet is represented by a formula (R is one element selected among rare earth elements comprising Y, M is one element selected among Ti and Nb, X is at least one kind selected among C, N, 0, B, S, and P, while 0.1<=u<=0.7, 0<=v<=0.8, 0.001<=w<=0.1, 5<=x<=12, 0<=z<=3 related to u, v, w, x, and z), and a main hard magnetic phase is composed of 2-phase separation system. The permanent magnet is improved in saturation magnetization and coercive force, with temperature characteristics of the coercive force improved as well. |
