<p>The protector has a guard rail for an upper jaw (1) and another guard rail for a lower jaw (2), where both the rails are aligned over an entire tooth rim and a part of tooth gum. A palate is partially engaged in a palatinal part of the upper jaw, and a lingual part of the lower jaw is deep rooted. An envelope fold of the respective jaws is gripped by the protector in a vestibular mouth environment based on requirements. The protector is made of hard rubber, plastic, shellac, hard acrylate, hard thermoplastic material e.g. hard plastic, or semi-soft and soft thermoplastic materials. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an animal bite protector.</p> |
