Gas adsorption air filtering fan

A gas adsorption air filter comprising an impeller fan rotatable about a central axis and having a plurality of filter blades 4 which extend from a central scaffold 2 which is adapted for mechanical connection to a motor and which contain an adsorbent material 9, which is at least partially exposed. Rotation of the filter blades 4 draws air across the blades allowing gas adsorption to occur. The gas adsorption air filter can be integrated into respirators, air purifiers and air deodorizers.
