A mounting method using magnets for mounting accessories to lighting apparatus used in film, photography and TV in studios and on location. Accessories such as diffusers, colour correction filters, lens frames, barn doors, gobos may all be attached to a luminaire using magnets. Both the luminaire and accessory has magnets disposed around them which correspond with each other. Magnets may be mounted in such a way to allow the north-seeking and south-seeking poles to be utilised to allow stacking of a plurality of lighting effect accessories. |
