A drainage electrode irrigation system for circulation-type hydroponic cultivation of plants is provided to reduce moisture stress of plants and ensure a liquid feeding method suitable for crop cultivation, as compared with a feed liquid control method by a timer, a solar radiation method and a drainage volume control method. An irrigation system having a bed(100) with a horizontal hole(101), hydrophilic absorbent mat and a medium part comprises: a sensing part(20) containing a pipe(102) connected to the horizontal hole and a water level control pipe(200) comprising a first water-level sensor(210) to sense the initial drainage of plants and a second water-level sensor(220) to sense the height difference of the drainage by the flow of time; a control module part(30). The control module part contains: a power shut-off device; an irrigation recognition system connected to an irrigation recognition switch and recognizing the irrigation of the water level control pipe; a minute timer connected to the irrigation recognition switch and compensating an error value by generation of the time difference from the point of irrigating in the medium to the point of feeding completion; and a first control part containing a 24hr timer connected to the powder shut-off device and optionally setting the irrigation time.
