A negative ion generator is provided to improve output of negative ions by increasing an output voltage, and to prevent breakdown of a capacitor and generation of ozone. A negative ion generator includes: a power supply part(10) for supplying an AC(alternating current) power; an oscillation part(20) for oscillating the AC power of the power supply part to a regular oscillation frequency; a boosting part(30) boosting and outputting the oscillated AC power by a transformer using a Teflon bobbin according to a predetermined power conversion ratio; a voltage multiplying part(40) having a first capacitor, a first diode, a second diode, and plural second capacitors, and multiplying a voltage boosted in the boosting part; and a negative ion generation part(50) for generating negative ions by a high voltage provided from the voltage multiplying part. |
