A parking apparatus for a speed reduction system of electric vehicles is provided to omit internal components, such as a shift load and a guide plate, by controlling transmission based on electronic transmission scheme. A parking apparatus for a speed reduction system of electric vehicles includes a parking controller, an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(30), and a side brake switch(40). The parking controller supplies driving force to a parking sprag(11) such that the parking sprag is selectively locked or released in a parking groove(10a) of a parking gear(10). The ECU receives electrical signals according to manipulation of a transmission level and controls the parking controller. The side brake switch controls the parking controller according to on and off signals.
