A method for manufacturing a hanger roller for an elevator door is provided to reduce waste of material and to improve productivity by forming the hanger roller using a round plate. A method for manufacturing a hanger roller for an elevator door comprises the steps of blanking a raw plate(10) formed at the center thereof with a fixing hole(11), forming an incision section(13) having a predetermined depth in the circumferential direction of the raw plate, forming a rail receiving groove(2) by press-fitting a mold(12') into the incision section of the raw plate, forming a case fitting hole(4) at the center of the raw plate, coating urethane resin(7) in the rail receiving groove, and press-fitting a bearing case(6) into the case fitting hole.
