COMPOUNDS FOR DETECTING DS-DNA IN PCR PRODUCTS, CHIPS FOR DETECTING DS-DNA IN PCR PRODUCTS, AND PROCESSES FOR DETECTING DS-DNA IN PCR PRODUCTS USING THE SAME

Compounds for detecting ds-DNA(double strand DNA) in PCR products are provided to improve convenience of ds-DNA detection by removing labeling of fluorescent material and purifying PCR products through inhibition of non-specific binding of materials except ds-DNA. The compounds represented by the formula(1) specifically detect ds-DNA in PCR products, wherein X is -SH or -Si(OR^1)3 in which R^1 is C1-C3 alkyl; Y is ds-DNA intercalator selected from pyrene, anthracene, penanthrene, naphthalene, crycene, tetracene, acridine, ethidium, proflavin, doxomycin, doxorubicin or thalidomide; n is an integer from 1 to 9; and m is an integer from 1 to 8. A chip for detecting ds-DNA in PCR products contains a solid supporting member and a self-assembled layer of the compounds represented by the formula(1).
