<p>A method for net reconnection in a broadband wireless connection system and a mobile terminal supporting the same are provided to secure prompt network reconnection by storing necessary connection information in a nonvolatile storage area at the time of initial network connection and reusing the stored information at the time of network reconnection. Connection information, which a mobile terminal obtains during an initial network connection process, is stored/updated in a nonvolatile storage area(S203). When reconnection to the same network is started between a releasing time of initial connection and a predetermined time, reconnection is performed by using the connection information(S206). If the reconnection is performed between the releasing time of initial connection and the predetermined time, a message of requesting the optimization of reconnection is transmitted to a base station, and then a necessary connection procedure is performed according to the optimization of reconnection of the base station.</p> |
