摘要 <p>A transfer substrate and a method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescent device are provided to prevent the features of the organic electroluminescent device from being deteriorated by surely transferring at least an emission layer among an organic layer on a lower electrode by a thermal transfer method. A transfer substrate includes a light-heat conversion layer(102), an oxidization prevention layer(103) and a transfer layer(104) that are sequentially formed on a base substrate(101). The light-heat conversion layer is formed of material with high light-heat conversion efficiency and melting point. Metal such as chromium or molybdenum having low reflectivity and high melting point is desirably used for the light-heat conversion layer. The oxidization prevention layer is formed of silicon nitride or silicon oxide by chemical vapor deposition. The transfer layer is disposed on the oxidization prevention layer. The transfer layer is composed of an organic material consisting of a first organic material and a second organic material. A weight reduction start temperature of the first organic material is less than 500 °C. The first organic material sublimes under atmospheric pressure. The second organic material satisfies the following formula Tsub - Tn <200°C, where, Tsub is a weight reduction start temperature of the second organic material and Tn is a melting point of the second organic material.</p>
