PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of authentication results by preventing improper use by an ill-intention user in a personal authentication system executing personal authentication in response to an authentication request from a server. SOLUTION: The authentication system comprises an authentication means 1 executing authentication with biological information and having functions outputting a score being the degree of similarity for the biological information and a hash value, a score log storage section 25 storing the score of personal identification obtained by the identification means 1 or a log of the hash value, and a processing section 26 determining disqualification of the authentication when the same score is continued at a plurality of times on the basis of the score read out from the score log storage section 25 or the log of the hash value.
