A multi-purpose tool processing machine is provided to machine a workpiece to be a horizontal tap, a tapered tap, a drill, and the likes by moving a plurality of motors to move a reciprocating deck, a cutter wheel unit, transfer screw bars. A multi-purpose tool processing machine comprises a main body(1), a base(2), a reciprocating deck(3), and a cutter wheel unit(4). A second motor(6) is installed at a transfer screw bar on the base. A first motor(5) is fixed to the reciprocating deck mounted on the base and links with a transfer screw bar(50). The transfer screw bar passes through two threaded members(7) and rotates with the first motor. A fixed deck(10) is mounted on the reciprocating deck and provided with two support frames(8,9). A fourth motor(11) for rotating a main shaft(110) is installed at one of the support frames. A center pin(90) is installed at the other support frame. The cutter wheel unit having a cutter wheel(12) on the base located between the support frames. A rack and a pinion are engaged with the cutter wheel unit to move the cutter wheel unit up and down. The pinion is connected with a third motor by a shaft. A control box controls the four motors sequentially. |
