<p>The system has a container i.e. letter box (10), provided with an insertion opening (12) and a withdrawal opening that is closed with a flap (16) that has a lock locked and unlocked by a key. The container has a sensor, an evaluation unit connected with the sensor, and an electronic communication unit connected with the evaluation unit. The sensor detects a package protruding through the insertion opening. The key has an electronic communication unit, which is brought in communication with the communication unit of the container. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a system for receiving packages.</p> |
