The device (1) has a pedal lever (4) e.g. pedal lever with proportional control, for controlling starting/stopping of a motor (5) that drives rotating tools (3). Another pedal lever (6) controls changing of operating parameters of a contra-angle handpiece (2b) based on a sequence (7) of tools and controls display (8) that displays tools, parameters and sequences on the contra-angle handpiece.
