<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten reliability of loading operation by preventing moving of a leader pin to execute certain engaging holding at the time of being engaged by an engaging member which turningly moves when being loaded from a state where the leader pin fixed to a top end of a magnetic tape in held in a housing part in an opening of a case. SOLUTION: A magnetic tape cartridge is constituted by rotatably housing a single reel 7 on which the magnetic tape 6 is wound in a cartridge case 4 and forming a contacting part 22 which regulates moving of the leader pin 5 at the time of engaging by coming into contact with an end part of the leader pin 5 at a front face side of a turning direction of the engaging member 60 of a recording and reproducing device in a recess-shaped housing part 20 of the case 4 for attachably and detachably fixing and holding the end part of the leader pin 5 fixed to the top end of the magnetic tape 6.</p> |
