<p>The present invention provides a powder coating composition comprising (A) 40 to 99 wt% of at least one saturated carboxylic functional polyester resin having an acid value in the range 5 to 200, (B) 1 to 60 wt% of at least one glycidylester and/or glycidylether selected from the group consisting of polyglycidyl ethers based on aliphatic, aromatic and/or cycloaliphatic epoxy resins, triglycidyl trimellitate (TML) and diglycidyl terephthalate (DGT), and (C) 0,01 to 40 wt% of at least one coating additive, pigment and/or filler, the wt% being based on the total weight of the powder coating composition. The powder coating composition provides a good storage stability and giving coatings with good coating properties, particularly, high exterior durability and stable flexibility. The compositions are suitable for the coil coating technology, that means, for coating applications also under high speed.</p> |
