A supplementary food composition for the reduction of body odor containing chitosan oligosaccharide as an effective ingredient is provided to reduce underarm odor as well as the smell generated from food such as kimchi, garlic, cheese, or goat. A supplementary food composition for the reduction of body odor containing chitosan oligosaccharide as an effective ingredient comprises: 5~95wt% of chitosan oligosaccharide and 5~95wt% of a carrier for the preparation of food. The chitosan oligosaccharide is mixed or diluted with the carrier, or put into a container-shaped carrier. The supplementary food composition is prepared in the form of tablets, pills, powdered medicine, a suspension, an emulsion, a solution medicine, a syrup medicine, or capsules.
