<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a controlling apparatus for a rotating machine that does not use current detector by omitting operation of an estimation current and reducing the entire amount of calculation, and by using an inexpensive computer. <P>SOLUTION: The controlling apparatus for rotating machines has a position detector 8 for detecting a rotation position of a synchronous machine having multiphase winding, a speed detector 11 for differentiating the rotation position obtained by the position detector to output the rotational angular velocity, a response current computing element 20 for calculating a desired response to a current command on rotating two-axis coordinates as a response current on the rotating two-axis coordinates, a voltage command computing element 21 for calculating the voltage command on the rotating two-axis coordinates based on the rotational angular velocity, current command, and response current, a coordinate transforming unit 2 for outputting the multiphase voltage command based on the rotation position and the voltage command on the rotating two-axis coordinates, and a voltage application means 3a for applying voltage to the synchronous machine according to the multiphase voltage command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
