The invention aims to provide an exhaust device where disturbance to an exhaust throttle valve (53) due to stones scattered thereto is prevented. Front side exhaust pipes (41) and rear side exhaust pipes (42) are connected to a catalyst chamber (15) disposed below a crankcase (14). The catalyst chamber and an exhaust chamber (16) rearward thereof are connected to each other via a rear exhaust pipe (47). The diameter of the rear exhaust pipe (47) is smaller than the lateral width of each of the catalyst chamber (15) and the exhaust chamber (16), so that a recessed space is externally formed so as to recede inside of the vehicle. An exhaust throttle valve (53) is received in the space. The exhaust throttle valve (53) is partially exposed to the outside of the rear exhaust pipe (47) and a throttle valve (72) is received in the rear exhaust pipe (47) to throttle-control the passage-sectional area of the rear exhaust pipe (47) according to the rotation number of the engine. Thus, the exhaust throttle valve (53) can be protected from disturbance due to scattered stones.
