APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR SINGLE-CHANNEL PORTABLE WIRELESS ECG MONITORING DEVICE

A single-channel portable wireless ECG(ElectroCardioGram) monitoring device and a measuring method thereof are provided to diagnose a disease by supplying a doctor with an ECG signal detected when an abnormal symptom is expressed. An ECG sensor unit detects an ECG through two electrodes(305f) in contact with fingers of a user(350) and one electrode(305c) in contact with a chest of the user. An ECG signal detection unit(400) processes a single channel ECG signal detected from the ECG sensor unit with an analog signal. A control unit(450) converts the single channel ECG signal into a digital signal, stores the converted digital signal, extracts a distinguishing mark from the single channel ECG signal through operation of a stored analysis program, determines irregularity of a rhythm from the extracted distinguishing mark, and controls transmission of the stored ECG signal to an external device(470). A display unit(111) displays the single channel ECG signal with an ECG waveform according to control of the control unit in real time.
