<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate limit in the number of slave clocks that can be arranged in a system, increase flexibility in operation, and particularly facilitate addition of a clock to an already operated system in regard to a wireless type master-and-slave clock system. <P>SOLUTION: In the master-and-slave clock system including a plurality of slave clocks receiving time information from a master clock by a relay method to carry out time correction, the slave clock 3 has a receiving means 31 for wirelessly receiving the time information, a correcting means 33 for correcting one's time on the basis of the received time information, a means 38 for generating time information for correcting time of other slave clocks on the basis of one's corrected time, adding rank information for distinction from the time information received by the receiving means, and sending it to slave clocks with lower rank in the system by the relay method, and a broadcasting means 41 for broadcasting time information into the system at a time other than a time for sending it by the relay method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
