<p>A method for controlling a multi air conditioner is provided to prevent current that is to be supplied to an inverter compressor from lowering caused by the operation of a constant speed compressor by controlling operations of the inverter compressor and the constant speed compressor according to an indoor load capacity. A method for controlling a multi air conditioner comprises the steps of: starting an inverter compressor, which is driven in less three-phase 380V, and judging whether an indoor load capacity is over a maximum drive frequency of the compressor(S110); stopping the inverter compressor and driving a constant speed compressor if the indoor load capacity is over the maximum drive frequency(S150); and stopping the constant speed compressor and re-starting the inverter compressor(S160).</p> |
