The method involves transmitting digital video broadcasting services in radio frames addressed to a terminal having a standby mode and a sleep mode, where a part of the radio frames includes information representing a modification in the content of the radio frames. Data corresponding to modified content of the radio frames is received by the terminal which is in the standby mode. Multi protocol encapsulation frames are inserted in the radio frames. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an apparatus for broadcasting a digital video service, comprising a transmission unit (2) an apparatus for receiving a radio frame, comprising a receiving unit.
