The invention refers to a method for logically locking data objects.
The method comprises:
- receiving from one of a plurality of data processing modules a request to logically lock one or more data objects of a data base for access of other data processing modules;
- querying an internal buffer, in which information on logically locked data objects are stored, whether said data objects are already logically locked;
- storing information on such of said data objects, which are not yet logically locked in the internal buffer;
- processing the not logically locked and, when updating the data objects, locking the data object in the data base by means of the data base management system;
- receiving names of one or more key fields of the one or more data objects to be locked;
- receiving n values for each of the m key fields of n data objects to be locked;
- receiving a maximum number of logical locks for the n data objects;
- checking whether n <=k. |
