<p>The invention concerns a method for producing a composite yarn comprising entangled continuous glass filaments and continuous filaments of thermoplastic organic material. The glass filaments are separated into a plurality of sheets (34a, 34b), the thermoplastic filaments are separated into a plurality of sheets (14a, 14b) and the thermoplastic filaments are projected into the glass filaments so as to blend them. At least one sheet (14a, 14b) of thermoplastic filaments being projected into each sheet (34a, 34b) of glass filaments, and the intermingled filaments (25) are gathered into at least one composite yearn which is driven mechanically. The invention also concerns a device for implementing said method.</p> |
