An authentication method, a computer readable recording medium for recording a program for executing the same, and an apparatus having the same function are provided to perform secured authentication reliably though additional devices are not installed in the conventional apparatus. An authentication method includes the following several steps. The first array of strings for identifying a user is inputted(S410). The first property of the first array of strings is extracted wherein the first property is related to properties for time intervals among the first array of strings(S420). The second array of strings, for example a password in accordance with a user is inputted(S430). The second property of the second array of strings is extracted wherein the second property is related to properties for time intervals among the second array of strings(S440). Authentication is processed by using the extracted first and second property(S450).
