PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network interface device capable of corresponding to a network monitoring request even if the power of an information processor or the like with the network interface device itself is mounted is disconnected. SOLUTION: The network interface device 100a is provided with: a storing part 108 for storing a MAC address and an IP address allocated to the network interface device; a part 107 to be monitored and controlled for executing processing corresponding to a request when receiving a network monitoring request for a network interface device with the IP address allocated as a target; and a power feeding part 109 for feeding power to at least a means to be monitored and controlled while the power of a main body device is disconnected.
