PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an option unit enhancing convenience of a user. SOLUTION: The option unit attachable to a printer is provided with: a receiving part for receiving a printed medium subjected to printing in the printer from the printer; a delivery part delivering the printed medium; a conveying part for conveying the printed medium received by the receiving part toward the delivery part; and a folding part for folding the printed medium conveyed by the conveying part and capable of selecting folding and non-folding of the printed medium.
