<p>The present invention is directed to the use of compounds of formula I and/or salts thereof for the treatment of hypophosphatemia. The present invention in particular is directed to the use of those compounds in different enantiomeric forms and in form of different earth alkali or alkali salts. Additionally, the present invention is directed to the use of those compounds in a medicament which is suitable for oral or parenteral administration.</p>
