A high-strength slag gypsum board composition for building interiors is provided to improve a production efficiency and a paper-making property, and to be increased in flame retardancy and fire retardancy. A high-strength slag gypsum board composition includes 8-30wt% of slag, 30-55wt% of hemihydrate gypsum, 20-40wt% of limestone, 2-5wt% of kraft pulp, 0.1-2wt% of polyvinylalcohol fiber, 3-12wt% of wollastonite, 0.5-3wt% of slaked lime, and 0.01-0.1wt% of a coagulant. The kraft pulp is prepared by refining bleached coniferous natural pulp or unbleached coniferous natural pulp into fiber with a double disc refiner, and has a Canadian Standard freeness of 210 ml or more(schopper type freeness of 50 degree SR or more). The coagulant is a liquid-phase anionic polyacrylamide.
