A removable ink tank (34) includes a floor (64) including an ink oulput port (68). A free ink chamber (56) is localed over the floor (64). A suspended ink chamber (58) is located over the floor (64) and arourtd the ink output port (68). The suspended ink chamber (58) is separated from the free ink chamber by a divider wall (60). The divider wall (60) has an ink communication port (62) located near the floor (64) to facilitate fluid communication between the free ink chamber (56) and the suspended ink chamber (58). A frame (76) is formed around the ink communication port (62). The frame (76) protrudes outwardly imo the suspended ink chamber (58) to ensure a good seal with the ink suspension member (70).
