PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna assembly which is placed by a method different from the prior art and is capable of transmitting/receiving signals from a direction of a high signal strength. SOLUTION: An antenna assembly of the present invention comprises an antenna body and a base. The base includes an opening for housing the antenna body, a fixed shaft, a main body portion including a bottom surface, and a lid body rotatably connecting the fixed shaft as a rotary shaft to the main body portion. The lid body and the main body portion comprise first and second mounting ends spaced apart from the fixed shaft, respectively. A mounting surface intersecting the bottom surface of the main body portion is formed from the first mounting end of the lid body that is brought into a state of being rotated in a predetermined angle and opened to the main body portion, and the second mounting end of the main body portion.
