PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a load from being applied locally without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: In the disk device in which an engaging piece 33 is engaged with a lock plate 35 by advancing a sub-rack 25 of a double rack 22 resisting to a spring 24, a stopper 43 is arranged projectingly and integrally with a front plate part 2a being adjacent to a lower end of a longitudinal groove 14 of the front plate part 2a of a loader chassis 2, the stopper 43 is inserted to the longitudinal groove 14 side by a part corresponding to a gapαbetween an inside plane of the longitudinal groove 14 and a cam pin 11a inserted in it, when a traverse chassis 6 is lowered and is made tilt attitude, the cam pin 11a is allowed to abut on the side edge of the stopper 43.
